TPC normally meets on the first Thursday of every month, but national
holidays or event clashes sometimes require delaying a week.

Venue

The meetings are held in the basement of The Tokyo Union Church (Map) on
Omotesando Dori, a short walk from the A-1 exit of the Omotesando subway
station on the Ginza, Hanzomon, and Chiyoda Lines. The entrance is through
the parking area at the side of the church.
Members free, non-members Y1000 at the door.
Doors open about 6:30, the meeting starts at 7PM.

The Tokyo PC Users Newsletter has been discontinued, but you can still find great, up-to-date information in the Newsgroups linked from the left-hand navigation menu. From January of 2003 to July 2003 the TPC Newsletter was published on the TPC web site in PDF format. A members password may be required to access some of the files.

When the link is selected your browser should produce a dialog box where the user id and password
can be entered. Then choose whether to read the newsletter online or download it. Moving the
focus around online is a little sluggish so it may be best to download the entire PDF file
( less than 1 megabyte ). Of course you'll need the Adobe Acrobat Reader to display and print the
PDF file. If you don't already have it on your system it is available for downloading for free at

Real-Time TPC

If you use the AOL Instant Messenger, you can often find some TPC people in the TPCUG group chat. (If you are using the AOL client, send a buddy chat invitation to TPCUG and specify the Buddy Chat room as TPCUG. Don't worry if it tells you that the TPCUG user is unavailable, you just have to invite someone. If you are using another client, you may need to specify that the chat room is on Exchange 4. The Tokyo PC Users Group meets regularly -- normally on the first Thursday of every month, but national holidays or event clashes sometimes require delaying a week. Admission is free or ¥500 for members, ¥1,000 for nonmembers; no reservations required.
