January 10, 2008 (Thursday): 'Max the MACs - The LUV Factor'

Greetings everyone!  Welcome to an evening of a most interesting presentation.  Jerry Suppan, who spoke at our club meeting this January, will also kick-off our 2008 presentations.

Tonight’s presentation will will take you on a journey through virtual worlds.  It does not matter whether you currently use Linux, Windows or OS-X as your primary computing environment, if you are a computer user at all, and would like to consider experimenting or go production in an alternative environments, there will be something for you in this presentation.  As a consequence of policy changes at Apple Computer accompanied by recent enabling hardware and software technologies, Jerry will present and demonstrate how any computer user can, have their windows, linux, mac meal served alacarte, or full course! By leveraging and maximizing virtualization technology, you can have it all.

The presentation will be at a grassroots level of understanding of and interest.  So, if you are just an ordinary computer user, and are considering to dabble in an alternate OS environment, or need to run a second OS for whatever reason, without purchasing another computer, then, this presentation is for you.  Depending on how you navigate through these virtual worlds, you may just acquire the LUV factor!
