Terry McKenna, our new club president and a former black & white home develop-and-print geek recently turned digital geek, will kick off the first 10-15 minutes explaining what parameters he uses when buying a digital camera. He will also show us how he calibrates his camera and PC monitor to achieve optimal color balance.
Jerry Suppan of Visionworks Productions will then share his own personal preferences with regard to digital photo management software, including ACDSee Pro and XnView, and if time permits, Videora, Handbrake, etc.
After the meeting ends at 9 pm, several of us head down the street to Shakey’s for food, drinks and more discussion. Please feel free to stop by even if you are unable to attend the meeting.
TIME: Doors open about 6:30 and the meeting starts at 7 pm
VENUE: The meetings are held in the basement of the Tokyo Union Church (map) on Omotesando Dori, a short walk from the A-1 exit of the Omotesando subway station on the Ginza, Hanzomon, and Chiyoda Lines. Entrance is through the newly remodeled front door.
