A Look at Microsoft’s Vista and Office 2007 - Consumer & Developer Perspectives.

Two long time TPC members and inveterate “geeks” will demo a few of the features of Microsoft’s brand new OS, Vista. Vista should be available for business uses by the year’s end. Consumers will have to wait until early 2007.  The meeting speakers will also review some of the features of MS Office 2007 and Internet Explorer 7, including some of the much awaited usability features.

Our guest speakers are Andrew Hayes and Andrew Shuttleworth.  Mr. Hayes is the Senior Developer and Chief HR Architect at CVi—Cross Vision International (http://www.cvi.co.jp) - a position he’s developed over the past 8 years. He is responsible for CVi’s human resource management products, and its integration with thier other payroll and attendance online service offerings.

Andrew Shuttleworth (http://hq.andrewshuttleworth.com) is an early adopter of PC’s and software. He’s been using Vista and Office on his main PC for the past few months. He runs his own business called Customers, Vendors, People (http://www.cvp.jp), which assists companies to find quality vendors for business service.
